Harnessing the power of plants
Botanicals are a family business founded in 2004 by Wendy Stirling. The dedicated team at Botanicals are driven by their desire to make skin care products as close to nature as possible, using the pure power of plants to promote the health and wellbeing of both consumers and the environment.
Botanicals have a loyal customer base but to fulfil the potential of the brand and develop their customer base they needed a stronger brand identity. The product packaging design was seen as key to taking the brand forward and creating an aspirational product.
Based on the ability of Botanicals to harness the pure power of plants, we looked at how they had taken a traditional approach to skincare and given it modern day appeal. From our proposals, the team at Botanicals chose our typographic approach with its contemporary interpretation of a classic Victorian, heritage look. The colour palette is feminine and authoritative, the logo classic, bold and confident.
The new, award winning identity has been applied to a number of additional materials, including a presentation brochure, salon leaflet, paper bags and packaging.
