Traditional values taken to a new market
Lux Lux manufacture traditional cotton and thermal underwear and wanted an updated brochure to take their products to a new market in the Far East.
The key differentials were the quality of the natural materials used by Lux Lux and the detail and finish of the garments.
The brochure needed a very traditional look and feel, picking up on the quality and hand finished aspects of the business so we used studio and location photography and a new elegant design style to create a beautifully presented company brochure.
After spending time in their factory, we shot and featured duotoned photography to illustrate the traditional working practices and the skill and craftsmanship involved in the handmaking each item. These were carefully balanced with colour photography to show the beauty and practicality of the finished garments.
Working with Lux Lux was a real pleasure, and to be involved in a process for a business with such values was fantastic.
Following on from the success of their brochure, Lux Lux asked us to develop a new e-commerce platform to increase their online presence.
To expand their market they required a highly usable website with a front-end that was capable of displaying their product ranges on any browsing platform, and that was both simple for customers to use and easy for the client to maintain. The back end content management system had to enable quick site updates and order processing.
It features a straightforward three-step ordering process and seamlessly integrates a payment gateway to make ordering products quick and easy.
