The aim of the Goldbug product shoot was to capture the quality, colours and textures of the children's backpacks. It was great fun and the client took away a set of images that really did answer the brief.

Branding and Presentation
We have worked with John Taylors
for over ten years when we took them through their first rebranding exercise. The new branding we feel is sympathetic to the existing identity
but more focused on the heritage and down to earth approach of their business. The initial brief didn't include photography but we felt that the personal images were important to communicate the quality and individual nature of their service and they are now planning to use them in the development of the website.
It was great to drive through the Lincolnshire Wolds recently and see the new boards. They do look impressive and are a good reflection of their company ethos.

A tasty start to 2012.
Here in the studio we have had a tasty start to the new year. As part of a large design project we have been styling, cooking, dressing and photographing some great food. These images will populate a 300+ page brochure to be launched at the beginning of February. We love the challenge of shooting food, not only is it extremely rewarding to get a set of beautiful mouthwatering images, the studio smells great too.

Inside and out.
We haven't just been thinking about food. Our studio has also been the backdrop for for a new collection of children's back packs. In complete contrast, we have been out and about shooting some interesting and descriptive images of a working warehouse. By using low angles and a slow shutter we managed to capture some really dynamic images of the staff at work.

Traditional values taken to a new market
Lux Lux manufacture traditional cotton and thermal underwear and wanted an updated brochure to take their products to a new market in the Far East. The brochure needed a very traditional look and feel, picking up on the quality and hand finished aspects of the business so we used studio and location photography and a new elegant design style to create a beautifully presented company brochure.

Local and professional: recognising the advantages of a family business.
Longstanding client John Taylors recently asked FSG to update its branding and presentation. With a decrease in activity in the residential property market and competition remaining fierce John Taylors estate agents and auctioneers based in Lincolnshire, wanted to reposition their company with a return to more traditional values.
With the wide use of online marketing independent agents can now rival the marketing reach previously associated with the national chains and clients are once again beginning to recognise the importance of local knowledge and professional advice. John Taylors have shifted their emphasis from a company focused on innovative marketing techniques to one that still embraces its founding principles of local knowledge and professionalism.
The rebrand involved a reworking of the logo and identity, redesign of boards, location photography, a corporate brochure, new property details and advertising templates.
In a crowded market potential clients have to understand our strengths. We wanted our clients to know that we are well established and have the experience to adapt to market conditions and give clients the best advice and a very personal approach. Initial feedback from our staff and clients on the rebrand has been very positive and we are now concentrating on implementing the changes to our website and online marketing.
James, Director, John Taylors.
